Our Dog Kiki,
We have had here for about a year and while she has been a great dog and if fine with kids 98% of the time but she can get scared and at times aggressive when she feels that she is being cornered and does not play well with small children. We now have a 2 month old son we can't keep her any longer and would like to find her a good home. She does great if she is able to come up to new people that we bring in the house and would be a great dog for a home with older children or adults.
She was a rescue from the Cleveland APL and is aprox 4 years old
Trained: She has been trained and does very well with basic commands, our trainer is even willing to spend a training lesson or two with her new owner.
Health: She is spayed and is up to date on her shots. Just saw the vet a few weeks ago for a checkup. Other than some worms a few months ago that she is now on meds for she has been healthy. She does have a sensitive stomach and can't eat table food and is limited in what dog food and teats she does well with. Currently on Kirkland (costo brand) lamb and rice.
Energy: While she has short spurts of energy running around the yard she prefers to follow people around the house and lay around most of the day.
She is a good watch dog and only barks when she thinks someone is at the door or when a car drives up to the house. For the most part she is not an a leash when we let her out and she stays in the yard unless she sees a deer.
Gets along well with other dogs, and cats.
Loves: car rides, playing fetch in the hall with her toys
Hates: rain storms, loud noises ie guns, firecrackers
***UPDATE***
If we can't find a home for her soon she will most likely have to be put down. Gabe has had her for the last 6 months but just moved into an apartment that won't accept dogs, she is currently with my parents but they can't keep her any longer due to my mom's health.
